Project Overview

The assessment brief was to build a classified advertisements platform where sellers could create adverts and buyers could browse and purchase available items.

The application included listing charges based on advert content and duration, account fund management, purchase confirmation, seller balance updates, and removal of sold items.

My Contribution

  • Designed and built the responsive interface from scratch.
  • Implemented buyer and seller registration, login, and profile editing.
  • Added postcode validation during registration.
  • Built seller tools for adding listings and managing account funds.
  • Displayed advert data from a MySQL database.
  • Implemented purchase flow logic and balance updates.
  • Added server-side validation and SQL injection protection for user inputs.
